About the Clinic

Not quite — MARA.H is founder-led. The clinic was founded and is led by Marina Hu, an ASPA Gold Award Winner with 15+ years in practice. A registered medical practitioner is involved where the law requires one: injectables and other prescription treatments are assessed and prescribed by Dr Jenn Lee, an Ahpra Registered Practitioner (General Registration MED0002666421). Device and skin treatments are delivered by the MARA.H clinical team, trained to manufacturer certification standards.

All injectable and paramedical treatments are overseen by qualified medical professionals, and we use only TGA-approved products, with our flagship devices TGA-registered. Meet the team →

Treatments

Yes. PICOSURE® PRO uses photomechanical (picosecond) energy rather than heat, which makes it significantly safer for Asian, ethnic and darker skin tones — and reduces the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation that can be triggered by traditional thermal lasers.

MARA.H Chatswood is an Authorised Cynosure PicoSure Clinic with deep expertise in multicultural skin and melasma management. Treatments are tailored after a clinical consultation.

DMK Enzyme Therapy is a paramedical skin protocol that works at the cellular level to rebuild the skin barrier from within. MARA.H Chatswood is a validated DMK clinic, and Head Therapist Nancy Song is a DMK-validated practitioner with 15+ years’ experience.

DMK treats severe and recurring acne, rosacea, barrier-impaired and sensitised skin, and stubborn pigmentation — addressing the underlying cause rather than only the surface.

All semi-permanent makeup — microblading, ombre brows, and lip blush — is personally performed by founder Marina Hu.

Marina is an ASPA Gold Award Winner (Australian Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals) with 15+ years of experience. Each design is bespoke, tailored to your face shape, skin type, and lifestyle.

All cosmetic injectables at MARA.H — wrinkle treatment consultations, dermal fillers, fat dissolving and masseter slimming — are prescription treatments. Each one follows a consultation and prescription by Dr Jenn Lee, an Ahpra Registered Practitioner (General Registration MED0002666421), and is carried out by the MARA.H clinical team.

Only TGA-approved products are used. Our protocols prioritise natural, balanced results designed for the patient’s facial anatomy — guided by our ‘Undetectable Injectables’ philosophy.

Yes. MARA.H Chatswood specialises in treatments designed for Asian and multicultural skin. Our laser technology (PICOSURE® PRO) is selected specifically because it is safer for darker skin tones.

Our DMK Enzyme Therapy protocols and clinical product selection are adapted for sensitised, pigmentation-prone and barrier-impaired skin commonly seen in our patient population. Read about Asian Skin Care →

XERF is a dual-frequency radiofrequency treatment that delivers energy across the dermis and the underlying facial layer to stimulate collagen and structural remodelling. It is designed for comfortable, no-downtime skin tightening. At MARA.H Chatswood, XERF suitability and your treatment plan are confirmed at consultation with our clinical team. Read about XERF Skin Tightening →

Ultherapy Prime uses focused ultrasound at a deeper layer aimed at lifting, while XERF uses dual-frequency radiofrequency for comfortable structural tightening with no downtime. HIFU and RF needling sit elsewhere again. The right option depends on your skin and your goals, and is assessed at a consultation with the MARA.H clinical team. Read about HIFU →

XERF is TGA-registered (Class IIb). There is no downtime, and most people resume normal activities straight after. Suitability is assessed by a registered practitioner as part of your consultation at MARA.H Chatswood.

Booking & Consultations

You can book online through Fresha via the booking links on our website, call us on 0468 358 861, or message us on WeChat (MARAH_Beauty).

For most clinical treatments we recommend starting with a consultation so our team can properly assess your skin and tailor an appropriate plan.

We strongly recommend a consultation before clinical treatments such as PICOSURE® PRO laser, DMK Enzyme Therapy, or cosmetic injectables.

The consultation allows our team to assess your skin condition, understand your goals, and recommend a treatment plan suited to your specific needs and skin type. Australian regulations require new patients to observe a cooling-off period between consultation and any prescription-based injectable treatment.
